“Breakfast is a serious matter—it’s the most important meal of the day, and it should be enjoyed slowly, with a smile.” That’s what my grandmother always used to say.

At Agriturismo Ponte di Riocchio, you’ll be welcomed each morning by lovingly set tables with mismatched plates, cups, and glasses—each one unique, just like our guests. It’s a little throwback to a simpler time, where every gesture spoke of care and affection.

Homemade sweet delights

Our breakfast buffet is a real taste experience, featuring a wide variety of sweet and savoury treats to awaken your senses.

You’ll find fluffy homemade cakes, fruit tarts, a tempting selection of buttery shortbread cookies, and our signature jams, made right here on the farm. Plus: muesli, fresh bread with butter, organic yogurt from a local dairy, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit and veggie extracts, walnuts from our trees, and seasonal fresh fruit.

On the savoury side, you can enjoy cheese produced on our farm—try it with honey or jam for a surprising combination—alongside cooked ham and hard-boiled eggs to fuel your day.

Gluten-free breakfast? Of course!

We also offer gluten-free breakfast options, because everyone deserves to enjoy our special “good morning” in Umbria.

Pair it all with a cup of artisan coffee from Gubbio, a creamy cappuccino, or an infusion or herbal tea of your choice.

Moreover the eggs, flour, and all the ingredients we use for your breakfast come directly from our own organic farm or trusted local producers. Everything is fresh, seasonal, and lovingly prepared—just like at home.

Our breakfast room is set in a charming veranda with panoramic windows offering stunning views of Gubbio and the surrounding countryside—a perfect blend of taste and beauty.

Year-round, we also prepare picnic baskets on request, so you can enjoy breakfast outdoors. Each room has its own patio, perfect for a peaceful meal, reading a book, or stargazing in the evening.

Breakfast is served daily from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. If you need a different time, just let us know the night before.
